It has been quite an experience how God has brought together the right people for our new worship teams! I definitely don’t suppose we could have contrived it better that it has formed!
God has brought the right people at the right time, and the more we progress, the more we find that He does not need me in the way. I am to be the person He has called me to be, and he brings on the others.
Sound Worship
I have found that as a leader, I often do not feel qualified to plant a church and lead some of the amazing people that are joining the Sound Church family, but I have to realize and have confidence in the fact that God has called us to do this! He is the one that knows what he is doing…
Maybe you find yourself feeling inadequate or ill prepared for your calling. Can I encourage you to pray and start going for it? Many times we over analyze what we are meant to do and come up with all sorts of reasons for it to fail. I know I have done that a time or ten. Think of the example of Peter being called to walk on the water. Traditional science and reason would laugh at such a prospect. But he was crazy enough to believe that the impossible was possible in Christ, and I think I might be just crazy enough also.
So won’t you join me in believing in the impossible? Can you believe that God has called you to do more than is possible in and of yourself for His glory? Then forget about the safety nets, and listen to His voice, stepping out where He has called you.
