Where to Worship
This has been quite a season for us. If you have been keeping tabs lately, we have been holding Sunday Services at different spots around town throughout the summer. It has been fun, doing worship Sound Church style a the park, and having the opportunity to meet more people in our community. We are all about reaching out to our community, so to move around has been fun.
This has been in part because of a financial crunch. At this point, we still want to be at the Loews AMC Alderwood 16 Movie Theater as long as possible. But we are entertaining other options, such as commercial space, schools, and any other opportunity we hear about. Please pray for Sound Church as our team is searching and praying about where to meet going forward. And please pray about getting involved with a gift towards our mission of reaching UP, OUT and IN in order to Amplify Jesus!
Brainstorming Resonate Student Ministry
Wow, God has been so good to us and it is amazing to think of all the lives that have been changed since starting Sound Church… But there is so much more ahead and we love seeing what is on the horizon!
Kristina and I have always had Student ministry as a passion on our hearts, and it has been strange not having that as part of our lives as much. We are really glad to have a few young people that are fired up to get something going your students in the Lynnwood/Mountlake Terrace/Everett/Edmonds area.
We are calling it Resonate Student Ministry, and we are likely starting with more of a small group concept, events, prayer, Bible Study, etc. This is going to be pretty different for us, as Kristina and I have mostly been with larger or established youth ministries, but we are really glad to be able to know everyone personally to start!
In the mean time, I am curious if you have any thoughts or opinions about youth ministry, especially if you are a student! What would you want to see? Where do other youth ministries “miss it?” What would be the best way to reach an unreached generation in the north Puget Sound Area?

It has been quite an experience how God has brought together the right people for our new worship teams! I definitely don’t suppose we could have contrived it better that it has formed!
God has brought the right people at the right time, and the more we progress, the more we find that He does not need me in the way. I am to be the person He has called me to be, and he brings on the others.
